Vegetable-tanned cowhide nappa as new lining leather

Rothoell Nachhaltigkeit

I do care for the outside and for the inside and for the things you might not see – only know. So I wanted to change a fact that troubled me deeply and interfered with my environmental care: I used for the lining of my accessories a
chromium tanned lamb nappa leather from India/ Italy (although one can not be sure about that either). So here is the update after a long research: I am so amazed by the beauty of my new leather. It feels and smells so good! The origin of the cowhide can be fully retraced. The skins derive from animals born and reared in Germany for the meat industry. And the best: the skins are tanned with plant-based substances in Germany. So now the outside corresponds with the inside! And I feel calm and even more motivated to shape my company along with my responsibilities.

Here our bag called “Pröm” where we used the vegetable tanned cowhide for lining.
